Free software to rid your computer of malware and viruses
You do not need to spend a fortune to defend your computer against viruses, spyware, and other rogue applications. Some of the best security software packages are available free, without any strings attached. For example, Search and Destroy is an award-winning anti-spyware application that will remove most malware from your computer and protect it from future threats. Keep in mind, however, that certain applications, such as Grisoft's AVG, are free for non-commercial/business uses only.
