Use Gmail to share data and files for free

You can use a Googlemail account as a file repository. Googlemail.com offers 6.4GB of space, which is equivalent to more than four CD-ROMs worth of information. You can set up an account that can be accessed by several different people for collaboration purposes.

You can email any of the stored the files as an attachment (up to 20MB) to people and the file name appears automatically as the subject. Even more interesting is that people can comment on those files using reply and forward features and archive them for future reference. Also you can try the viksoe Gdrive Shell Extension which allows you to access your Googlemail online storage through Windows Explorer.
