About e-skills UK
e-skills UK is a not-for-profit, employer-led organisation, licensed by government as the Sector Skills Council for IT & Telecoms, and lead body for Contact Centres.
Our mission is to ensure the UK has the skills it needs to compete in the global economy.
The Guide has been developed by e-skills UK in collaboration with industry experts and over 200 small businesses.
e-skills UK is working with Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) and the appropriate bodies in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to make the Business IT Guide available across the UK.
At present five RDAs are funding the Guide in their region and we are working towards 75% coverage across the UK by 2009.
